By using the Vintage Performance website, placing an order, or requesting machining services, you agree to the following conditions.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, prices, descriptions, specifications, availability, services, and other information may change without notice.
Photographs and descriptions are provided for general informational purposes and may not represent every variation of a particular part or service.
Vintage Performance performs machining and related services based on the condition of the parts received, customer instructions, measurements, and the requirements of the requested work.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their engine, components, intended use, and any previous machining or modifications that may affect the work.
Vintage Performance may decline or stop work on a component if its condition makes the requested work unsafe, impractical, or likely to produce an unacceptable result.
Porsche 356, 912, Volkswagen, and other vintage engine components are several decades old.
Customer-supplied parts may contain:
Some conditions may not become apparent until a component is cleaned, measured, disassembled, or machined.
Vintage Performance cannot guarantee the condition, suitability, or remaining service life of customer-supplied components beyond the specific work we perform.
Estimates are based on the information and condition known at the time they are provided.
If inspection or machining reveals additional problems or work that was not reasonably apparent beforehand, additional charges may apply. When practical, we will contact the customer before performing significant work beyond the original scope.
Any completion or turnaround time provided is an estimate unless specifically agreed to otherwise in writing.
Machining schedules may be affected by workload, parts availability, tooling requirements, additional problems discovered during inspection, shipping delays, or other circumstances.
It is the customer's responsibility to review requested machining operations, specifications, and measurements before work begins when those specifications are provided by the customer.
Custom machining performed according to customer-supplied specifications cannot be returned simply because the customer later chooses a different specification or engine configuration.
Returns and shipping matters are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy.
Custom machining and completed machining services are generally not returnable because the work permanently modifies the customer's parts.
